Jessie Keogh is a New York City based production designer, actor, filmmaker, and creative marketer. She is a graduate from The New School with a Bachelor of Arts in Screen Studies.

Her filmmaking practice cemented during her time living in the East Village. With influences from the 20th century heavily present in her work, analogue is at the heart of her craft. Starting in 2019 Jessie began to curate a closet of antique and vintage items to create educational and engaging online fashion/aesthetic short form videos. Her performance & design craft started with these videos that sparked a global trend in the online ‘retro’ community. Now, she works on independent film sets acting & doing production design with a focus in contemporary period pieces.

Her own work is done on celluloid film and draws aesthetic design from the mid-late 20th century.

Her life is often concerned with nostalgia; it is something that this generation is seeking in art and media. She intends to challenge modern trends by taking the roots of storytelling and filmmaking, and exploring them in the modern world. She harnesses accessibility to such grounding and expansive analogue mediums and ideas to create something timeless. The root of creation for her comes from traditional storytelling and tangible creation using analogue mediums. Her mission is to tell fictional stories that explore the human condition and womanhood in fantastical ways. Whether that be through her performance, filmmaking, or the craft of her marketing.
